If you are following my blog you have probably already figured out that I am a photographer by trade, that being the case I have finally put together a page on Facebook for my fans to congregate! Do me a huge favor and head over there and like my page, www.facebook.com/ShootJoeC
Today I had the opportunity to shoot engagement photos for two of my closest friends and it was the best time I have had in a while! The photo above is me shooting a solo photo of Charlie, taken on my iPhone 4s. Since I got the 4s on release day I have become more and more impressed with the quality of the camera and I find myself using it even more than I did on my iPhone 4. Check out my instagrid page by clicking HERE, and if you have instagram please follow me over at @shootjoec which is the same as my Twitter!
While sitting here drinking some tea I decided to see just how many blog posts I have made since January first of this year and the number was a bit surprising. As anyone who follows me online (and anyone who knows me in real life for that matter) knows, I spend a LOT of time on the Internet. Whether I am blogging, Facebooking, Tweeting or just messing around on forums. Many of you also know that I my “in real life” job is being a social media manager for an awesome company, which gives me the opportunity to talk to the masses as much as my heart desires.
That being said, I wanted to take this opportunity to once again invite all of my followers here and all the great people who follow my blog via RSS feed to check out some of my professional work. So what is the number of posts you ask…
652
That means that in the last seven months and twenty one days, or two hundred twenty days to be exact I have posted almost three posts, every single day.
So do me a favor, while I stream out this seemingly endless concoction of thoughts and opinions, follow me, and most importantly please let me know what you think!
Ahh, this is SO cool to me. There is this great book out called The Ruins of Detroit that is chock full of photos that show just how run down and abandoned Detroit is. There looks to be so much opportunity here for a revival, but with the current state of the entire city it is pretty unlikely than anyone in their right mind is going to sink any (more) money into Detroit. This is my favorite shot of the ones i’ve seen, it is just so crazy that something so beautiful can just sit there uninhabited. Pick up your copy of the book here, because honestly, you need to get those coloring books off your coffee table.
