It may be because of this hard part 50’s haircut I just got, but lately I have been fixated on gold watches. It could also be attributed to me finally getting some more info on my grandfathers gold watch that I have, but more on that later. The watch we see here is a Nixon which they are calling “The Spur.” This is a japanese movement watch with three hands, one of my favorite combos. Today while passing through Union 206 studio in Alexandria Virginia I had the extreme pleasure of having some photos taken by my good friend and amazing  photographer, Douglas Sonders. Douglas has been a friend of mine for quite some time, we have been on countless awesome adventures together and he is even a super rad uncle to my baby boy, Max. Douglas is working on a series of photos of men with beards, now being as it were, I just happen to be a man with a beard, combine that with being good friends with Doug and the building at which I found myself standing this afternoon, I am now in this series.
